Dr. PT Harun Kızılcı

About

Harun Kızılcı was born in Malatya in 1984. He completed his primary, middle, and high school education in Malatya. He completed his undergraduate education at Süleyman Demirel University between 2003 and 2007, and his master’s education between 2008 and 2010 at Hacettepe University in the Prosthetics-Orthotics Biomechanics department, with a thesis in the field of pes planus (flat foot). Also at Hacettepe University, he completed his doctoral education between 2010 and 2014 in the same department, with a study on amputee football players. During his undergraduate education, he received training in hand rehabilitation at the Hand Microsurgery Orthopedics and Traumatology (EMOT) Hospital. Upon graduation, he served as a physiotherapist at a private education center, a private hospital, and a state hospital.

From 2011 to 2016 he served as a faculty member at İnönü University, and during this time taught many undergraduate and graduate level courses in his field.

From 2011 to 2015 he served as physiotherapist of the Amputee National Team. In this field he received conference invitations from abroad as a speaker and gave presentations. Recently he received concept training from successful teams in the field of spinal health. He successfully completed Schroth training, an exercise therapy specific to scoliosis. Most recently, in line with İdeal’s goals, he joined the Orthopedics, Microsurgery, and Athlete Health team.

Kızılcı, who has numerous national and international publications, poster presentations, and oral presentations, received an oral presentation award at the 15th Advances in Physiotherapy Congress.
